We have lived next door to Mike and his family for over 20 years. In that time we have been blessed to experience their kindness and friendship countless times. Mike Shaw is passionate about wanting things to be the best they can be. His property is always immaculate. No home on our street is more impressive and pristine. He stood up against the development of the scenic hill next to our block in order to protect the privacy and home values of everyone who lives here. His generosity is unmatched. A few years ago Mike noticed that our garage door opener had stopped working. He had an extra one and offered it to us. He even came over and installed it for us. He loves his family, his city, and his neighbors…and it shows each and every day. As mayor, we know Mike Shaw will maintain Simi Valley as diligently as he maintains his property, and treat her residents as kindly as he treats his neighbors...and our city will be in good hands.
